要求男人事業有成，和要求女人嫁個有錢人，同樣是無理的畸型社會現象。假如女孩樣子普通，大家不會對你有所寄望；不幸是大美人的話，不嫁入豪門便是對不起整個家族，那怕你最後嫁不出獨身終老。

布拉姆斯更是終身被紮腳。年紀輕輕便才氣橫溢，人人都對他有極高的期望，等待他寫出「貝多芬第十」交響曲。為什麼要拿他和貝多芬比呢？貝多芬和他根本完全不同性格。布拉姆斯背負著這種壓力，寫完又刪，再寫又銷毀，寫到四十三歲才滿意－－這是他的第一交響曲。紮著腳的音樂，到最後的一段才鬆綁，不喜歡布拉姆斯的李察，紮腳的痛苦，難道你不明白嗎？

Maybe age has something to do with it. I didn't get to like Brahms until I was more than 40 years' old. I still find the German Requiem indigestible. But that might be because I had a bad experience with it as a teenager in the HK Phil.

I wonder if a beautiful girl's family will regret their persuasion of the girl to a rich family if one day they get entangled into the rich family's feuds etc.

A good amount of pressure can stimulate creativity, but will kill it if over the limit!
